The Dam Jawn is a collective of five young, international musicians from the Amsterdam jazz scene who first met in Philadelphia. They have already released two albums: Master Street (Challenge, 2023) and Forward! (Cellar Live!, 2024). On this occasion, they will present their third album, featuring acclaimed American trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, who also appears as a special guest on the recording. Pelt has performed with jazz legends such as Ravi Coltrane, Roy Hargrove, Louis Hayes, Greg Osby, and Cassandra Wilson.

 

The Dam Jawn refuses to be confined to a single style or genre. Instead, its members constantly expand their musical boundaries in search of new sounds.
